People are always asking me how I make money online. I’ve been doing it for almost 4 years now and, fortunately, haven’t had to get a “real” job yet (since graduating college). It’s definitely not easy to do, but anyone with some intelligence, creativity, and/or the willingness to do large amounts of research can make a good living on the Web. However, it’s important for newbies to start off small and cheaply. Despite what the marketing “gurus” try to tell you, you really don’t need to spend a lot of money on ebooks and software to begin earning a nice income on the internet.
Anyway, here’s an easy and cheap way to create an online revenue stream that I developed for my friends:
1. Choose a profitable topic/theme - There are several ways to do this but one of the easiest is to use Overture’s free bid tool (Tip: It’s always best to choose a topic you know something about…. or at least are very interested in.)
2. Setup a blog - You can use a free one such as Blogger.com or MSN Spaces. This will become your main “site” since it’s really just a way to easily publish content.
3. Start writing high-quality, focused 400-700 word articles DAILY! - This is probably the most important thing you can do for long-term success. You can also use syndicated articles from article directories to “beef up” your site but don’t rely on it. Make sure all articles are based around your site’s central theme.
4. Post your theme-based content to your site/blog on a regular basis - Try to post at least one or two good articles per day.
5. Monetize your blog - Put related affiliate links and Google Adsense on your blog to start making some money.
6. Write and submit good articles to the online article directories - This will get you some free one-way links (great for search engine rankings), increase your site traffic, and help to establish your credibility.
7. Get a low-cost autoresponder and start collecting the email addresses of your site visitors - Offer a useful free report or email mini-course to entice people to sign up.
8. Send out a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly newsletter with useful information and a couple affiliate links - If you “nurture” your subscriber list well it can quickly turn into your biggest moneymaker!
9. Continue to drive traffic to your site - Submit your blog’s RSS feed to feed directories, submit your main page and/or a few good internal pages to general web directories and theme directories (DMOZ.org is the most important), and trade links with good sites that have related themes.
Well, that’s just the beginning! But it’s a great way to get started making money online. In the future I may post an “extended” version of this list with much more detail but I hope this basic list helps you out!

Online data entry jobs are scarce, but not unheard of in this day and age of the computer and internet.
Before applying for any job you may find , you'll want to make sure your skills and experience meet the qualifications requested.
Having the properly equipped home office will be important too. Your potential employer will want to know that you are serious, professional and qualified.
Go after any data entry job you find just as you would a job outside the home. Have a classy, professional and CURRENT resume with a personalized cover let to match!
Too many times people go after online jobs unprofessionally. If you really want the job, if you really need the income.....then don't respond to a job position with an email saying...."Yeah... I'd like more info on this job."
Sending an email like that (even if you're qualified) and another person sends a nice resume and a personal cover letter that states their genuine interest and why they'd be the best candidate --then guess what.....you just lost your chance!
Your resume is YOU. Are you a crumpled up piece of paper with stains on it, or are you a pristine, clearly written, ambitious piece of linen paper that wants to get noticed?

Another great resource is eLance. They've been around for YEARS. I myself did projects through eLance a few years ago. My MOM has even done a few jobs that she found on eLance! You basically bid on a job. Make sure you bid accordingly. Meaning - take in your time, how long it will take you and any supplies you might need to provide. Also be sure to look at the time line for the project! Don't take on a $500 project that needs to be done in two weeks, if you're getting ready to go on vacation. If the person is asking for a membership fee to information of job listings, or a product to help you create your own business or a fee for a start up kit (think Avon, Discovery Toys, Tupperware) then that is a whole different ball game. Remember... there is NO free lunch. If you don't want to pay someone for the information or kit or whatever it is -- then do the work and create it for yourself. If it's worthwhile -- then sell the information to others at a reasonable price and you've created your own JOB!
Also.... look into the transcription job area or the writing area. Even online proofreading is becoming huge and I know many that have earned doing it. Almost all jobs in these areas will require samples of your work or some type of testing to rate your skill level. Be prepared for this.
Sometimes is can take months, if not years to land the dream job you want. Being ready with a great resume, keeping your skills current and searching daily is certainly the most positive move in that direction!

Outsourcing
Outsourcing became part of the business lexicon during the 1980s and refers to the delegation of non-core operations from internal production to an external entity specializing in the management of that operation.
The process of outsourcing formalises the description of the non-core operation into a contractual relationship between the client and the supplier. Under the new contractual agreement the supplier acquires the means of production which may include people, processes, technology, intellectual property and assets. The structure of the client organisation changes as the client agrees to procure the services of the outsourcer for the term of the contractual agreement.
The decision to outsource is often made in the interest of lowering firm costs, redirecting or conserving energy directed at the competencies of a particular business, or to make more efficient use of labor, capital, technology and resources.
